GrowMotor Drives Progress

I help my clients to drive change against all odds. Tough decisions and commitment follow deep, relentless emotional engagement.

What’s My Background?

Born in Australia, I worked in Asia, Africa and the Middle East before settling in the United States. I worked in sales, consulting, product development, product management, international marketing and strategic planning at Kodak, then set up marketing and sales at start-up Gradient Lens Corporation. Founded Dingo Gringo, a marketing strategy consultancy, in 1999. As I added writing and production in 2005, I changed the name to iWrite Marketing. GrowMotor, founded in late 2010, signals a narrowing of focus to the marketing of major change, of making progress.

Who Says?

I work best with ambitious, uncompromising organizations that are game for radical innovation, whether in health care, technology, science, creativity or making a better world.

Clients include Sprint Nextel, Novatek, the University of Rochester, the Rochester Institute of Technology, Gradient Lens Corporation, MedTech, the New York Wine and Culinary Center, Rochester Clinical Research, and Litron Labs.

Graeme is the best big picture thinker I have ever seen!
Doug Kindred
President & CEO, Gradient Lens Corporation

Graeme worked with MedTech at a critical time in the organization’s growth. The marketing and communications strategy that he delivered demonstrated an exceptional understanding of our business and our customers, while challenging our team with truly innovative ideas. I was particularly impressed by Graeme’s ability to translate “big picture” ideas into tactics and time frames that would help us ensure successful implementation with our limited personnel and budget. So far, the results from implementing phase one of the plan have been great and I’m looking forward to rolling out phase two.
Heather Erickson
President, MedTech

I’ve worked with Graeme many times. He is easy to work with and very insightful. Graeme applies a deep understanding of the marketing process and marketing tools to the challenges that we give him.
He is especially talented in understanding and communicating complex subject matter in science, medicine, and technology. With Graeme and his colleagues you get more than a marketing consultant; he questions and tests the fundamental market hypotheses behind the business and provides a perception of your product and market from the customers’ eyes. He looks for the greater good of the client, not just the opportunity to do more work.
Rick Richmond
Chairman, SiMPore

Graeme has an exceptional ability to distill complex ideas or concepts into cogent and lucid marketing strategies. His over-riding philosophy is “Do what’s right, and do it right”. This commitment, combined with the creative ability of his team, results in a value proposition unrivaled in the field.
